Picasso Portraits

It’s crazy how I didn’t realise how much of an archive of work and styles Picasso has. I’ve always loved some of his works, and been neutral about others, but there is so much more than I has never seen! From the exhibition, my favourites where his earliest works (those pictured below) His early work is so fluid and playful, you can see the development as he matured and then matured again as he moved to more ‘realistic’ oil portraits and then on again, back to his playful, colourful ways. The one on the right made me want to revisit oil paints while the one on the left made me so happy as such a famous painter at times sketches messily.
