Sports Direct: REDESIGN

For this brief, I have chosen the option of redesigning sports direct to be a kids sports wear store, as opposed to a high end store.

I’m not enthusiastic about redesigning the brands name or logo and so want to produce a series of illustrations that could feature on the website, in store and on posters/promotional material.

My initial brainstorm (below) was full of sports equipment with faces, as well as happy, colourful people in motion. Putting faces on inanimate objects adds a childish element, possibly drawing attention to something that might have been over looked by a child. Happy people illustrations suggest a joyful outcome from your visit to sports direct/contributing to sports. The drawings would be pleasing to children and reassuring to the parents,,
